A new UNISS center devoted to trace metal research (Cr.E.S.Met) was launched on April 1, 2017 at the facility of the Department of Biomedical Scieces. The center will contribute to advance knowledge in the field of trace metals, that is, heavy metals normally present in small but measurable amounts in animal and plant cells and tissues. The group coordinated by Dr. Roberto Madeddu, includes Professors Antonio Azara, Salvatore Dessole, Alessandro Fois, Andrea Montella and Maria Antonietta Zoroddu.
