Here, at the University of Sassari, we are all shocked and saddened to learn about the earthquake that has scourged and is still scourging Turkey and Syria.

Our geographical distance cannot but reinforce our will to be close to Turkish and Syrian Universities as partners and friends.

Our deepest condolences go to those who have lost their dear and close ones. Their grief and sorrow must be overwhelming, so we wish them the courage and strength to get through this dreadful crisis.

At this moment in time, when looking forward to a brighter future is paramount, we wish to reinforce our will to continue collaborating with them in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
