Rector Massimo Carpinelli chaired the opening of the 455th academic year of the University of Sassari on September 23, 2016, at the Aula Magna of the University of Sassari.

After Rector Massimo Carpinelli’s opening speech, the representative of the technical-administrative staff, Liliana Manca, and the student delegate within the BoT Michela Loi took the floor. Then, the President of the National Institute for Social Welfare and guest of honour Tito Boeri presented an introductory lecture entitled “The future work”.

The Associazione Coro of the University of Sassari, conducted by Maestro Laura Lambroni and the Associazione Goliardica Turritana participated in the event.
