Carry a protective approved mask at all times with you. Wear it indoors at any place other than your home and outdoors at any place where self-isolation cannot be guaranteed

Comply with any roles applicable to shops, stores, offices and any other business, including where food and drinks are sold.

Such obligations do not apply:

  • During sports activities, to which specific restrictions apply, e.g. 2-meter personal distance, team sports may not be played, etc.
  • Also note that indoor and outdoor cinemas, theatres, concert halls, gyms, swimming pools, spas, YMCA’s, and the like, are currently closed until further notice.
  • People affected by severe disabilities which make it impossible for them to wear a mask

The use of protective masks is highly advisable in the presence of  non-cohabiting individuals.

Keep your 1-metre distance from other people.

Refrain from participating in public or private gatherings.

Places of worship may be accessed, but specific rules apply. Please, contact the place that is closest to you.

Note that travelling is not advisable unless necessary.

Note that each city has its own restrictions: i.e. in Sassari, bars and restaurants will be closing as early as 6pm until further notice. A maximum or 4 people may sit at the same table (unless cohabiting).

After 6pm, eating food outdoors or in any public place is strictly prohibited. Shops and restaurants are required to inform customers regarding the maximum number of people who can be served and who can enter their premises. Restaurants may offer take-away service or home-delivery until midnight.

Also note that people with a temperature exceeding 37.5°C are required to stay home and contact their medical facility of reference.

You are kindly advised to download the IMMUNI mobile application to be notified if you get in contact with COVID19 positive cases (contact tracing).

Make sure to pay due attention to your personal hygiene: wash your hand properly and frequently, and use sanitizing solutions whenever appropriate.

Important information for travellers:

All passengers travelling to Sardinia must register at least 48 hours before departure;

If you show any of the symptoms of COVD-19, please call your doctor or reference, or dial 118 or 800894530, or send an e-mail to urp.emergenza@regione.sardegna.it.

Do not go on your own to any Hospital or Emergency Room under any circumstances.

Travelers are required by the carrier to inform as to their previous travels. From time to time, access may be rejected if the countries crossed are included in the updated lists of banned countries.

Travellers having visited the following countries during the last 14 days will be required to serve home-isolation for 10 days: Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Rwanda, Republic of South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay, Armenia, Bahrein, Bangladesh, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Oman, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, Montenegro, Colombia and any other country not included in Letter A, B and C of Annex 20 of the Resolution attached.

Travellers who have stayed or transited during the 14 days before their arrival in Italy, who do not show and symptoms, are required to communicate their access to the national territory to the regional prevention unit: Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Spain, the UK, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Rwanda, Republic of South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay, Armenia, Bahrein, Bangladesh, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Oman, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, Montenegro, Colombia

Those who show symptoms must immediately inform the local healthcare institutions responsible for the COVID-19 containment and serve home-isolation.

If you have stayed or transited during the 14 days before your arrival, in Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Rwanda, Republic of South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay, Armenia, Bahrein, Bangladesh, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Oman, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, Montenegro, Colombia, even if you have no symptoms, you MUST SERVE HOME-ISOLATION.

If you have stayed or transited during the 14 days before your arrival, in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Spain, the UK, even if you have no symptoms, you MUST CHOOSE between the following two options:

  • show that you got tested at least 72 hours before your arrival to Italy
  • get tested by a local healthcare institution within 48 hours after your arrival and SERVE HOME-ISOLATION IN THE MEANTIME.

 

Are you staying in Sardinia?

All incoming students who are currently planning to stay in Sardinia during the current stay-at-home period, are kindly requested to contact their Departments to make sure that the courses and exams they are requird to take, are provided online.

Are you planning to go back home?

All incoming students who are currently planning to leave Sardinia, are kindly requested to contact the International Relations Office (aselis@uniss.it; interdestk@uniss.it) to inform the University about their leaving.

Dear students,

following the lastest communication by the Sardinia Regional Authority, anyone who has travelled to Sardinia during the last 14 days and is now in Sardinia is required to:

  • Stay home for 14 days in total isolation at home. Leaving the house is permitted  throuout the regional territory only if strictly necessary to leave Sardinia, and wearing suitable PPEs; 
  • follow strictly the instructions of the Italian Ministry of Health and “Istituto superiore di sanità” regarding the containment of COVID-19 spread;
  • inform the local contact point for COVID-19 in case of flue-like symptoms;

Dear student,

regarding the containment measures adopted against the current epidemic, as referred to by Italian Prime Minister’s Decree dated March 8, 2020, we inform you that all study and traineeship activities which started before March 5, 2020, may be carried out regularly but they will be suspended between March 5 and March 15, 2020. 
However, international mobilities for study and traineeship fall within the category mentioned by art. 2 lett. i) of the above-mentioned decree, that is “study trips, exchange and twinning programmes”.

Therefore, all study and traineeship activities launched or fostered by UNISS or any local partner within the regional territory are to be intended as suspended until April 3, 2020.

Please note that any academic and/or company tutor may, at their own discretion, request the suspension of study/training activities for safety reasons.

The Decree provides that anyone who has been in, or travelled through the high-risk areas during the previous 14 days, that is, the areas identified by the World Health Organization Memos or Annex 1 of the afore-mentioned Decree of the Italian Prime Minister, as amended and supplemented, is required to immediately inform the local competent medical officer or their family doctor.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Decrees of the Italian Prime Minister dated March 1, 2020 and March 4, 2020, and all other official communications regarding the epidemiological emergencies, you are kindly asked to comply with all the tips published by the Italian Ministry of Health on http://www.salute.gov.it/imgs/C_17_opuscoliPoster_433_allegato.pdf.

Specification for medical students/trainees/interns

The above-mentioned decree resolves that medical students/trainees/interns are excluded from the suspension, including post-graduate students, specialization students, or participants in general medical practice courses and health care professional courses. 
However, the President of the UNISS School of Medicine has suspended all activities involving 1st health care professional course year students and all Dentistry students.

We kindly remind you that all national provisions must be complied with. Failure to comply with all Italian national provisions may result in civil and/or criminal liability.

Pay attention to  requirements
TRAVELLING If you entered the Italian territory after the 14th day before the publication of the above-mentioned Decree and come from/stayed in a high-risk area as identified by the WHO, contact the local surveillance reference persons and your family doctors.
FEVER Make sure your temperature is below 37.6°C. If you feel feverish or you have a fever, contact the local surveillance reference persons and your family doctors. Check your temperature twice a day (morning and evening).
CLASSES Please, browse the website of the University Department or the online notice board to check the availability of distance learning classes.

Pursuant to the current urgent provision of the Italian Government regarding the containment and management of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, this is to inform you that all international student mobility activities for study and traineeship are hereby suspended. Activities includes incoming and outgoing mobilities in the framework of the Erasmus+ and Ulisse programmes and similar programmes, carried out by UNISS, starting between today and March 15, 2020.

All mobilities for study and traineeship must be postponed and started after March 15, 2020, following the instructions that will be provided by this university via email or published on the  official website.

All mobilities for study and traineeship which started before March 5, 2020, may be carried out regularly but they will be suspended between March 5 and March 15, 2020, with the exception of the traineeships carried out within the Medical Area, pursuant to the provision of the Italian Government.

The Decree of the Italian Prime Minister dated march 4, 2020 provides that anyone who has been in, or travelled through the high-risk areas during the previous 14 days, that is, the areas identified by the World Health Organization Memos or Annex 1 of the afore-mentioned Decree of the Italian Prime Minister, as amended and supplemented, is required to immediately inform the local competent medical officer or their family doctor.
