“Home is not where you live, but...”:an Erasmus experience, an experience of yours.
1st PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTEST FOR INCOMING AND OUTGOING ERASMUS STUDENTS AND ALUMNI

The University of Sassari (@unissgram) and Associazione Erasmus Student Network Sassari (@esn_sassari), hereby publish the 1st Photographic Contest entitled “Home is not where you live, but...”:an Erasmus experience, and experience of yours.
Entering the contest is free of charge and open to any incoming and outgoing UNISS Erasmus students who completed their Erasmus mobility in the academic years 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.
The contest is intended to showcase the Erasmus experience enjoyed by former and current Erasmus+ UNISS students, both incoming and outgoing, focusing in particular on the relationship between the Erasmus+ Programme and the promotion of the hosting territory.
The most significant submitted works will be exploited by UNISS and ESN Sassari in its promotional and communication activities.
Through photographs and videos, the contestants shall portray the Erasmus+ experience enjoyed by Erasmus+ incoming and/or outgoing UNISS students, visually interpreting the emotions it arouses, with a special focus on the relationship between the Erasmus+ Programme and the promotion of hosting territory. An Erasmus+ mobility enhances the cultural and personal background of its participants, in a spirit of openness and interconnection between different academic and student communities. The photographic or audio-visual materials submitted shall portray the contestant's personal point of view and they shall be original.
The contest is launched in the framework of the EU #ErasmusDays initiative, promoted by Erasmus+ National Agencies, under the auspices of the European Commission. ErasmusDays are day fully devoted to the promotion of the Erasmus+ Programme at the EU level, through the organization of seminars, exhibits, testimonies, video shows, etc.
The 2020 edition of ErasmusDays will be held on October 15, 16 and 17, and they will share and celebrate the Erasmus+ Programme.
Photographs and/or videos may only be submitted via email to ESN Sassari President: presidente@esnsassari.it. The selection panel will choose the photographs and videos to be published (max. 10 photographic or video works). The works selected will be published on the @esn_sassari Instagram page between October 7 and October 16, 2020. The photographs and videos that will have earned the greatest number of likes, will be ranked on top of the ranking list.
The results of the contest will be disclosed by the selection panel on October 17, 2020 on the www.uniss.it website
The winner will receive 1 UNISS trolley bag; the first and the second runners-up will receive UNISS gadgets provided by the International Relations Office of the University of Sassari.

Contest results - 17 October 2020
After a two-week voting on the web, the winner of the 1st Photographic Contest entitles “Home is not where you live, but...”:an Erasmus experience can now be annouced!
The winner is Francesca Iurato, who gained 541 likes on the official Instagram profile of ESN Sassari, with her HOME IS NOT WHERE YOU LIVE, BUT WHERE YOU ARE HAPPY AND FREE.
