Short description: this project starts from the results obtained within the project RIADE, (www.riade.net), which has experimented with an innovative approach on issues related to protection strategies of ground water resources in the pilot area of Nurra, Alghero (Sardinia). The aim of this new project is to find a more detailed definition of the issues concerning ground water degradation phenomena with particular reference to traceability of nitrogen pollutants, by applying techniques using natural isotopes.
