Position in a workplace:
Graduates can operate with a good level of autonomy, carrying out technical and executive tasks in public or private sectors. They can occupy entry-level graduate positions in chemical workplaces, including analysis, control, quality certification and research laboratories, chemical industries and all working structures that require an intermediate chemical knowledge.
Graduates will have an adequate understanding of the chemical aspects related to industrial contexts, research and analysis laboratories, environmental protection, preservation of cultural heritage, health, energy and materials science.
Graduated students will be able to independently use scientific instrumentation and properly interpret analytical results; they will correctly understand and use chemical procedures and methods of analysis.
They also will have a good level of interaction, also in multidisciplinary settings, a good degree of autonomy and will be potentially able to coordinate a small group of people.
Graduates in Chemistry, after acquisition of the requested qualification, may operate as Junior Chemists. Graduates can also find employment in research or analysis laboratories, industries and small-medium firms, structures involved in environment preservation, protection of cultural heritage, health and energy.
