The degree course in Veterinary Medicine takes place in five years and is divided into 10 semesters.A limited number of students is admitted to the degree course in Veterinary Medicine . Candidates are subjected to a national admission test based on 60 multiple choice quizzes in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, general knowledge and logical reasoning.The educational activities are organized in educational and training areas. These areas are divided into one or more integrated courses.The exams are in total 29, for a total of 300 credits (CFU). The internship is intended to provide specific professional knowledge required for admission to the bar exam to exercise the profession. The training can be done in internal structures to the Department or in contracted external entities.
In order to enter the degree course in Veterinary Medicine the student must have a diploma of secondary school or other equivalent qualification obtained abroad.Access to the Degree in Veterinary Medicine is set for each location and for each academic year, through numerical programming of student contingent (EU and non-EU) Ministerial Decree of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). The Ministry of Education formulates the admission test and sets the date, start time and duration. The admission test thus takes place simultaneously in all locations of the courses in Veterinary Medicine in Italy. The admission test consists, at present, in a written test with multiple choice questions of General Culture and Logic, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
