Attending students: the final exam is a paper on the contents of the documents found by the student during the archive research or on those documents specified by the professor during the course. Non-attending students: oral exam on the main topics treated in the course book.
The purpose of the course is for the student to acquire the knowledge needed to autonomously carry out a research on archive documents recording the manners and means of daily life in the cities and villages of Modern Age in Sardinia.
Material life in the European societies during the Modern Age: dwellings, furniture, daily life tools, food, clothing.

Frontal lessons with the professor, students will be also asked to read and comment documents, research on archive documents from the XVIII century (notary deeds, etc.).
The classes will start in October and will end by November. To be considered “attending students” it is required to attend at least 20 of the total 30 hours of the course.
