This course is focused on the understanding of buildings for the wine industry. Classes will stress the concept of quality in architecture. Students will be able to write a preliminary analysis of a winery including the description of environmental units and spatial units (wine production sections).
General part – materials and technical architecture: building organism, building process and methods (16 hours). Special part –the building process applied to the winery (8 hours). Laboratory: preliminary analysis of a winery (8 hours).
