The scientific community, governments and civil society require experts to analyze, understand and assess the complexity of environmental risks associated with the territory (changes in climate and land use, forest fires, hydro-geological instability, natural disasters, pollution), to identify monitoring strategies and develop management plans to protect the territory and increase resilience. The course aims to provide basic concepts on environmental and ecophysiological characteristics of agroforestry systems, as well as tools and techniques for the assessment and management of environmental risks at local , regional and national levels.
