Contents

Programme of the Course: From Ovid to Boccaccio: «Elegia di madonna Fiammetta».
The purpose of the Course is a reading, intertextual analysis and critical commentary of Giovanni Boccaccio’s «Elegia di madonna Fiammetta», trying to understand its relationships with the Classical and Medieval models (Ovid in primis), also through the vernacular translations, and to spot its main literary, artistic and cultural peculiarities.
