HUMAN ANATOMY WITH ELEMENTS OF ANIMAL BIOLOGY
Course tests written (multiple choice quizzes) and final oral exam
At the end of the course the student must demonstrate:
- To know the structural organization of eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells.
- To know the structure and function of different types of cells and tissues of the human body.
- Be familiar with and know how to use anatomical language.
- To possess adequate knowledge on the morphological organization of the human body, knowing how to describe the macro and microscopic constitution of the systems.
- They have acquired the ability to recognize and to describe macroscopic and microscopic organization, also by images of different parts of the body.
The course provides useful information to interpret the metabolic processes that happens at the cellular level, tissue organization and their morpho-functional correlations with the microscopic anatomy. Also provides the basic anatomical knowledge of the various systems, with the microscopic characteristics of the organs that composed the human body to understanding the structural and functional relationships.
