The course objectives are the following:
1) To teach the student to know how to investigate on parasitic disease, through scientific search database available at our university (Scopus, Pubmed).
2) To develop the understanding and summarizing of English contents
3) To bring their own contribution by presenting the case of the data relating to research projects and graduating thesis, or in the case of external students, through further research through interaction with the teacher on specific research subjects
4) To try as much as possible to develop interdisciplinary arguments, with biotechnology, clinical approach, parasitology research
5) To carry out and be able to support a peer-review internal process, through the display of the content prior to the teacher and to junior staff, in order to write and explain to the collegues contents according to the scientific method
6) To expose a research investigation or review periodically (every student participating in the course must expose at least one argument processed according to points 1-6) in front of their colleagues, junior, and senior staff, through exhibiting a lecture and a multimedia presentation
7) To provide, at the end of the course a text, drafted together with the teacher and tutors, focusing on the research subject
8) To be evaluated with an exam at the end of the course on main topics treated
