Knowing about how to communicate at various scales and on different grounds, is today a key factor in design more than ever before.
Designers are today requested to communicate their work effectively, and increasingly through new languages (digital renderings, virtual reality, interactive apps, animations) and channels. At the same time it is easy to see how the ability to 'communicate' has increased its relevance in design, in respect to factors such as functionality, economy, usability.
Apart form being a sophisticated design activity on its own, learning how to communicate one's designs in a clever and effective way, becomes an important element in 'design culture', as well as a key professional commodity.
This general vision will be combined with practical exercises aimed at a direct familiarization with key graphic software (Photoshop, Illustrator).
