The course, which includes within it the Modules Representation of the project, Ancient Topography and Geology applied for enviromental defenceintends to introduce students to the conservation project of a historic building as an act of design synthesis of historical data, material, linguistic, technological and use. Each conservation work it requires a complete knowledge of the historical architecture as an area, subject, symbol, problems in the light of any possible remedies today that the technique allows.
There is thus a link between theory and practice, and this course aims to provide students with the theoretical tools for a choice (critical) of formal solutions and techniques.
