Oral exam
The course is aimed at providing students with a critical reading of the sustainable tourism finalized to support local development.
The course will couple the theoretical and methodological aspects with the operational ones related to sustainable tourism that will be dealt in its evolutionary aspects and following the most important schools of thought. A particular attention will be given to the interaction between tourist activities and territory. Also the relation between local development and alternative (sustainable) tourisms will be highlighted, as well as the policies of execution and control for the promotion and maintenance of tourist sustainability.
Papers and handouts, also in English language, will be made available during the course, also through the DiSea website.
