Basic microeconomics knowledges are required, associated to a good preparation in Farm economics

The assessment of students learning will take place through three written exams.
The first exam will cover the main theoretical and methodological issues of rurral appraisal(Sections 1 of the program). The second exam will cover themes of rural and legal apprasail (Section 3-4 of the program). The third exam will focus on cadastre and environmental estimation (Section 5-6 of the program).
Exams will consist of 10 multiple-choice questions and 3 short-term problems.
Rural appraisal is a fundamental course for the professional education of Agronomist. The aim of the course is to provide the students with theoretical and methodological knowledge needed to analyze and solve the main problems in the rural appraisal field.The course will enable the students to: correctly classify a given evaluation problem within the estimation theory; identify the most appropriate evaluation criteria to apply to the assessment problem; use the most appropriate evaluation methodology
The course is divided into 6 Sections.
The first section provides the basics of apparisal theory and methodology. The topics covered include:

1.3 - Estimation of rustic funds
1.3.1 - Analytical estimate
1.3.2 - Synthetic Estimation
In the Second Section, the fundamentals of financial calculations applied to the estimate are provided. The topics covered are:
2.1 - Financial Mathematics and Estimation
2.2 - Interest, capitalization and discount
2.3 - Periodic values
Th thirth section covered som of the topics in rural appraisal:
3.1 - Farmland investment estimation
3.2 - Estimation of water
3.3 - Estimation of fodder
3.4 - Estimation of pastures
3.5 - Wood estimation
3.6 - Small land plots and gardens estimation
3.7 - Estimates concerning the delivery and delivery of rustic funds
3.8 - Damages assessment
3.9 - Estimation of rural and civilian buildings
The Fourth Section focuses on the Legal Appraisal, ie issues with which the estimate is subject to specific legal provisions. The topics covered are:

4.3 - Estimates of usufruct, use and dwelling
3.4 - Estimates of expropriation for public utility

The Fifth Section deals with the Estimate of Cadastre and it's so subdivided:

The sixth section of the course deals with providing a brief overview of environmental and territorial appraisal. The topics are:

The course will be conducted through frontal lessons. To facilitate students learning and avoid that they attending the lesson only taking notes, I'll use slides that will be delivered them a few days before the lesson. The lessons will be conducted so as to solicit an active students participation, with questions, presentations of case studies and problem solving in the classroom.
Students are encouraged to contact me individually or in groups to discuss any
problem relting the cours. My office hours are from Monday to Fryday, from 9:30 A.M to 01:30 P.M. Since I might be absent, I would recommend the students to make an appointment by mail
