Objectives

Learn to analyze, to formalize and to make operationally usable in forest inventory and monitoring processes, concepts and methods of forest mensuration and forest auxology

Contents

Forest growth and yield - Estimation of tree and forest growth, potential production, basic forest growth curves properties, normal growth and yield tables and growth models.
Processing inventory menuration surveys: elements of coding, open source, open data and knowledge sharing, estimate of assortment volume and 'profile functions' (taper functions)
