The aim of the applied biology teaching is to provide the student with basic knowledge of the organization structure and functions of living things using appropriate scientific language. The course is divided into the notions of basic cellular and molecular biology to understand the phenomena occurring in both the most elementary organisms, the cells, and in the most complex organisms, humans, so that the student can acquire basic knowledge that can be used to understand the physiological and pathological functions in humans. These basic knowledge will be necessary to reach the skills that will allow the setting of a functional physiotherapy diagnosis and plan the patient''s rehabilitative pathway whithin their role as healthcare practitioners.
