NEUROLOGY
Acquire knowledge to identify the relationship between illness, disability, disability and handicap in major neurological diseases and the resulting rehabilitation pathways. To this end, the main neurological disease of interest and the stages of rehabilitation will be identified in relation to the achievable goals. Finally, clinical tools will be provided for evaluating disability, musculoskeletal function and motor activities in daily life.
Rehabilitation in the subject with traumatic brain injury: Evaluation in the acute phase(definition of the severity of brain damage and associated and secondary damage; estimation of the acute and chronic rehabilitation needs). Assessment tools in TBI after the acute phase. Social reintegration and quality of life. Pharmacological treatment of spasticity. Psychology in rehabilitation. Upper and lower limb functional surgery, hydrokinesitherapy, robotics and virtual reality in rehabilitation, hypomobility syndrome.
