The course will deepen the main themes of social psychology, adopting the key to understanding change. The themes of the discipline, both in the theoretical study and in empirical research, will be addressed through the topics with which people and social groups are confronted with the needs of the contemporary: equality and social equity, diversity and inclusion, deviances, ties and conflicts, well-being, participation and communication. The lessons deal with three main areas of interest: a. the psychological dimensions of the law and the interaction with legal professionals, the variables involved in deviance processes, the elements useful for the civil and penal interventions, the different models of prevention and intervention in the field of deviance and psycho-social risk, b. relational and restorative approaches promoting individual and collective wellbeing; c. restorative justice for a peaceful management of conflicts, protection of victims, social security, active integration.
