ENGLISH LANGUAGE I - MOD. I
Linguistics (only for L12 students): students will be introduced to some basic notions concerning the phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax of the English language. The notions acquired will be used to illustrate strategies for the linguistic analysis of texts of different types.
Language module: learning and development of the primary communicative competences (written and oral skills) in general English (B1+ level of the CEFR).
Linguistics (L12): the course will cover the following concepts: the classification of the speech sounds of English, aspects of connected speech, the formation of English words, models for the analysis of syntactic structure.
LANGUAGE MODULE: written and oral activities aimed at the development of reading, writing and listening skills and lexical-grammar knowledge at B1+ level (CEFR)
