The course overviews the main topics in Computer Science and also explains how to use office automation programs.

The topics that will be addressed in the theoretical lessons are the following:
- hardware architectures of modern computers;
- basic functionalities of modern operating systems and file systems management;
- algorithmic approach to solve problems;
- Internet and its services;
- Word processors;
- Spreasheets.

During the exercise classes, the students will understand how to work correctly with word processors and spreadsheets.
