The main objective of the teaching unit is the acquisition of skills related to special pharmacology and the principles of clinical use of drugs. The student will have to acquire the key concepts of the main classes of drugs used in clinical practice, their pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and adverse effects (foreseeable and unpredictable).
During the internship the student will have to develop specific skills in the drafting of a scientific document (based on the consultation of international bibliometric databases) having as its subject a specific topic of the Special Pharmacology course. The student will have to 'prove to know the main structures of a document (scientific paper, review, etc.) and be able to consult and summarize the knowledge contained in these documents. The student must also know the concept of PLAGIARISM and SELF-PLAGIARISM and avoid them carefully during the drafting of the final project. The final document can be written both in Italian and in English and presented in a presentation (in Italian or English, chosen by the student).
