Oral interview.
- Knowledge of Greek literature from the archaic age to the imperial age.
- Classification of the main Greek authors in their historical and literary reference contexts.
- understanding the specificity and complexity of Greek literature as an expression of civilization and culture.
The course proposes an overview of Greek literature from the Archaic age to the Imperial age. Literary genres will be analyzed through the fundamental texts of Greek literature considered in their historical and literary contexts as well as in their diachronic development. In particular the judicial oratory will be studied as evidence of the specificity and complexity of Greek culture and literature.
