The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of the
technological processes involved in the preparation and control of
conventional pharmaceutical dosage forms At the end of the course the
student will be able to: Know the active and auxiliary substances for
pharmaceutical use including the packaging materials. Knowing the
production and control processes of conventional pharmaceutical dosage
forms. The frequency is mandatory; 80% of frequency is required.
Attendance is recorded by signature
The lectures will focus on the following topics: pharmaceutical dosage
forms for oral, rectal or vaginal, cutaneous, inhalation and nasal use;
pharmaceutical forms for ophthalmic and auricular administration;
pharmaceutical forms for parenteral route. The main technological
procedures involved in the production and quality control of different
pharmaceutical forms with laboratory practice.
