The lessons of the Infectious Disease Module will be focused on the major infectious diseases of equine and animal species. They will cover the symptomatic aspects, pathological anatomy injuries, course and prognosis, clinical diagnosis, pathological anatomy, laboratory and direct and indirect prophylaxis with particular attention to the clinical approach and differential diagnosis. They will also be given therapeutic and veterinary information. The Lectures of the Public Health Veterinary Module will cover the learning of the correct and appropriate terminology used in the veterinary public health, the knowledge of the organization of the National Health Service, international reference organizations in public health, the expertise of ASL Veterinary Services, the tools needed to manage a health emergency, epidemiological surveillance systems and permanent veterinary supervision
