APPLIED PHYSICS
Ability to take intermediate (written) tests only for those attending lessons of more than 75%
In other cases: single oral exam at the end of the course consisting in solving problems commented on the blackboard.
To contribute to the acquisition of technical-scientific knowledge, which allow to know the basics of physics together with IT, EU and international legislation on Security and Protection.
All this in order to be able to formulate and manage reliable hypotheses on possible developments of negotiation activities and negotiations to promote the defense of human rights and support for peace and civil commitment where science becomes a vehicle for common development, a development based on a healthy progressive civil conscience, and on the other hand to guarantee food, environmental and health security.
Introduction to physics and basic mathematical concepts. The scientific method.
Introduction to Kinematics and uniform rectilinear motion. The uniformly accelerated motion. The uniform circular motion, frequency and period. Speed decomposition in angular velocity and tangential velocity.
The motions in more dimensions: the parabolic motion. Ballistics: the range in function of the initial speed angle, the maximum range and the maximum height.
Dynamics: the principles of dynamics, composition of forces. Conservation laws, stable and unstable equilibrium.
The motion of a material body in a smooth inclined plane.
The friction forces and the motion of a material body in a rough inclined plane.
Work, energy, power.
Introduction to electrostatics. Coulomb's law. The electric field. Monopolies and magnetic dipoles. The electrical potential. The work of an electric charge.
The magnetic field. The North Pole and the South Pole. The magnetic dipole. Motion of a charged particle in a magnetic field.
The moving electrons: the continuous and alternating electric current. Current conductors from the physical point of view: Ohm's laws for first-class conductors.
The electric circuits: calculation of the equivalent resistance on a circuit with series and parallel resistors.
Overview of alternating current: characteristics of the generator and characteristic of the waveform.
