The course envisages two intermediate tests during its unfolding and a final exam at its end. The students who have not taken or have failed one of the intermediate tests, must repeat it during the final exam. The passed tests are to be considered valid until the end of the summer session. Subsequently, the students must take the full exam (composed of all three parts), whatever be the outcome of the previous tests. Each part of the exam takes place in the computer lab, envisages the use of a spreadsheet and lasts for one hour. Each part of the exam is subdivided into a verification of the theory based on closed ended questions (up to a maximum of five points), and two or three exercises to be solved with the use of a spreadsheet (up to a maximum of 25 points). In order to pass the exam, it is required to get at least 18 points in each of the three parts of the exam. The final grade is given by the average of the three votes taken in each part of the exam.
