The exam will take place with the discussion of the graphic material produced.
The evaluation will not only refer to the final result but the whole work process will be considered.
It is a theoretical course of projects, incentivize the experience of architectural creation without making a project, without drawing the ideas and without building the plans.
We are going to define a random territory that must start from the unconventional to discover, through the mystery of human labyrinths, other ways of understanding the same reality.
We will study what we call "FOOD & CITY", an excuse to enter the city to see what happens with the daily and natural phenomenon of food that is discarded for various reasons in every contemporary city.
Quickly the axis of the discussion should move to the questions we are asking as a society, and the creative process of the architectural project, start with the definition of problems, so that the project can provide solutions.
We must formulate precise questions to support an architecture project, understood architecture as the relationship between human beings and space, regardless of the scale and magnitude of the intervention.
This course should give us the time to ask those questions, to formulate questions to our daily action as citizens and professionals. The questions require an enormous capacity for synthesis and abstraction and at the same time for pragmatism and creative capacity.
In turn, all the questions will have a common denominator; recycling.
In the works presented there must be a common denominator, and this is the will to close a cycle.
We like to talk about projects as well-formulated questions. So many times the question already contains the answer. So we insist on this initial question, defined with rigor and precision, and where some will already shape their response.
Writing to four hands is an exercise that we should do more often. I think the course will not be written in four hands as this text may seem, but in 50 hands, the sum of all the students, who will question our role in the future as professionals, and as people.

The work will be structured in two-day weekly sessions: students will initially work as a group completing the final work individually. Every 15 days there will be a collective evaluation of the work on each project and the students will be obliged to listen to the comments and evaluations. During the intermediate sessions, the work will continue with tutors coordinated by the teacher. Each student will hold a project booklet, with sketches of revisions and useful material for the development of the theme, as well as the plastics of representing the three-dimensionality of the project hypothesis.
