The teaching model is face-to-face, through ex-cathedra lectures, case-study presentation and discussion, practical exercises and design workshops.
The course is structured in:
a series of short design experiences about communication, based on the workshop model, structured as 'basic design' exercises, aimed at stimulating a critical creative attitude, and ad acquiring the key elements of visual communication. Among other things we will deal with symbols and pictograms, poster design and murals, techniques of visual rethoric, still and animated images, 2 and 3 dimensional visual design. This will directly interact with guided exercises whose scope is the direct familiarization with key graphical software (Photoshop, Illustrator).
In the final part of the class the students will develop an individual project.
