climatic factors and interaction on plants
II Adaptations of resistance to water deficit of forest species; energy balance in different ecosystems of the earth; temperature: physical bases of control, physiological effects. Ecosystem - functionality: flow of energy and matter in the ecosystem;
Factors controlling gross primary production and net primary production; trophic relations: food chains.
III. Ecological pyramids; populations and communities: growth curves, competition and adaptation, temporal dynamics of the ecosystem: successions, disorders and responses;
Carbon cycle, forests and Kyoto protocol
