Adequate knowledge of Roman history, from the founding of Rome to the fall of the Roman Empire in the West, using literary, epigraphic, and archaeological sources. Basic knowledge of the main institutions to the Royal, Republican and Imperial age, of the main economic and social problems and of the cultural phenomena during the different phases of the Roman age
