The student will learn how to create and manage files using word processors and software for handling spreadsheets and multimedia presentations.
The course overviews the main topics in Computer Science and explains how to use office automation programs.
The topics that will be addressed in the theoretical lessons are the following: - hardware architectures of modern computers; - basic functionalities of modern operating systems and file systems management; - algorithmic approach to solve problems; - Internet and its services; - Word processors; - Presentation programs; - Spreasheets.
During the exercise classes, the student will understand how to use correctly word processors, presentation programs, and spreadsheets.
