The lessons of the botanical module are aimed at highlighting the characteristics of the plant world, in particular the structure of the plants and the classification and characteristics of the species of the main plant families. The student will acquire skills in the recognition of the single most used plant essences, of greater veterinary interest. At the end of the course the student must also be able to use the knowledge acquired to be able to recognize and classify individual plant essences.
During the course the student will be stimulated to:
- learning knowledge and problem solving in the botanical context;
- to develop the skills to apply this knowledge for the use of the same;
- to autonomously understand the anatomical and physiological structure conditioning the life of the considered plant essences
- to use correct terminology and to communicate clearly and unambiguously to specialists and non-specialists.
