The aim of the course is to provide the student with the skills necessary for the use of epigraphic analysis for the reconstruction of Roman history. At the end of the course the student will have acquired: knowledge of Roman history and the Roman world through the study of epigraphic sources; knowledge of the history of discipline; Roman public life and religion; knowledge of life in the provinces through the study of local inscriptions.
