INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION
Final oral exam.
The course tends to strengthen students' knowledge of conceptual and methodological issues related to the investigation of language in its broadest sense. It also intends to give them a greater awareness of the critical national and international interactive issues, connected with the language contact considered in the broadest sense, together with additional adequate communication tools in the languages of reference, whose nature includes multimedia, training them to use the most effective and appropriate vehicle language within multicultural and multiethnic environments and in the most different psycho-socio-cultural and socio-professional contexts.
The program includes:
- a first module which aims to consolidate the basic principles of General and Applied Linguistics;
- a second module which aims to extend the horizon of linguistic analysis to multicultural and multiethnic areas;
- a third module devoted to the analysis and the use of the communicative approach within specific Italian and international application contexts of different types (academic, professional or technological), with particular reference to that of the advertising.
