The background of the course is the study of the Greek World from archaic age to the Roman conquest using the literary testimonia and the inscriptions as sources. Then it will analyze some important themes of the institutional life of the polis and in particular the periodo between the Vth and the IVth ventura BC. The course is open to a methodological approach and the Greek sources will be traslated and commented during the lectures.
