SPANISH LANGUAGE - LESSONS
This course is intended to provide a B1 level of the Common European Framework for reading ,listening, grammar and vocabulary in Spanish language.
The course is divided in two parts: lectures and lessons.
1. The lectures (B1 level) focus on the development of the 4 language skills: grammar, speaking, listening and reading comprehensive. The lectures are scheduled to last an academic year (from October to may): 60 hours in the first semester and 60 hours in the second semester. The book that is going to be used during the lessons is “Nuevo Prisma Fusión A1+A2, Edinumen “ students and exercise’s book
2. The 20 hour lessons will take place in the second semester and their objective will be concentrated on consolidating the four language skills and on preparing the student for the exam. The classes consist of reading different types of texts ( descriptive, informative, narrative) or of watching a documentary or a film that will be used for discussion of contemporary themes or/and for writing some essays.
Grammatical arguments:
• The alphabet : pronunciation and intonation. Differences between Italian and Spanish.
• The articles (indefinite, definite), nouns and adjectives gender and plurals.
• Numerals, possessives, personal and reflexive pronouns and adjectives.
• Simple present tense: form and use of regular and irregular verbs.
• Phrasal verbs I : hay+que +inf. , tener+que+inf. , ir+a+inf.
• The gerund and the present continuous.
• Prepositions I.
• The past and present perfect tenses: use , form and comparison.
• Prepositions II
• The imperative.
• Phrasal verbs II: volver+a +inf. , acabar+de+inf. , dejar+de+inf.
• The Future and the conditional

Students who are unable to attend the lessons will have to prepare the exam using the above mentioned books or other manuals of B1 Level. For the oral exam they will have to prepare TWO texts chosen from the previous list.
