After a short reference to basic physics, thermodynamics and fluidmechanics are considered focusing on the first principle and on evaluations on the second with its outcomes. Heat transfer and condensation through building walls are then presented; the principles of air conditioning and energy saving concern plant design and architecture. Finally the module deals with acoustics and lighting engineering and their applications to buildings.
