Oral test involving the presentation of a scientific essay.
Achievement of the main principles and research methods of functional structural diversity. Development of the ability to apply acquired knowledge in the solution of practical problems related to the conservation and management of biodiversity. Strengthening of the ability to operate bibliographical researches, to individual and team work, to talk with staff committed in management of parks and protected areas, to produce relations about performed activities.
Life outside the sea. The biological cycles in acquatical plants and terrestrial plants. Morphological identification and visual census of different algae generation and of the sphorofitus in acquatical plants. Variability of the ecological adaptations in Mediterrean and Atlantic coastal plants. Roots, soil coverage, dispersion, ramet and genet, reproductive strategies and relative populations structure.

Frontal lectures. Students involved in activities linked to the teacher's research projects: field activities on data collection, data processing and critical analysis of results. Daily excursions and a two/three-days excursion in +structures within research activities areas are scheduled for data collection.
