As well as the knowledge of the epistemological bases of the discipline, we will encourage reflection on the theories of foreign language acquisition and on the elements of general linguistics, useful for the development of glottodidactic skills. Particular attention will be given to elements of didactics of Italian as L2, on what knowing a language means, on how to teach a language and how to evaluate the learning of a language. During the lectures we will analyse the Common European Framework of Reference and the differences between the didactic unit and the learning unit and its possible realizations, as well as a possible miscellaneous based on any interest shown by students during the course and the analysis of slides and materials provided by the teacher.
