The course develops a critical analysis of psychology and law, in its interactions with both the law and other extra-legal disciplines, and its application fields. The matter will be dealt within a vision of promotional and participatory governance, with a focus on the processes of individual and collective responsibility, social inclusion and cohesion. The main topics are: disciplinary development in psychology and law; models of justice (retributive, rehabilitative, restorative); evaluation and intervention in situations of juridical relevance; models and levels of prevention in particular community and promotional. Restorative justice will be specific object of study: according to the latest European directives and recommendations will be considered the prospects of peaceful conflict management, protection of victims, social security, active integration.
