The course will be focused on psychology of deviance mainstream: theoretical thinking on criminal deviance, analysis of deviant action and criminal career; the psychology of judicial decisions, treatments and interventions related to judicial decisions in the criminal field, to detention and alternative punishment, to emerging models of prevention and restorative justice; the psychology of problematic situations and those at risk in developmental age. For each topic the theoretical developments, methods and tools of knowledge useful in empirical research and in psychological intervention will be examined.
