The aim of the course is to provide the student with a taxonomic framing of the plant kingdom, with recognition of plant species of veterinary interest, such as forage and main toxic species.
Upon completion of the course, the student will have acquired:
- basic knowledge of general and systematic botany,
- ability to independently recognize the main plant families of veterinary interest,
- appropriate and fundamental technical terminology to be used in the context of the profession.
