The course has a theoretical-practical character and consists of two parts.
The first part (1 credit) will focus on theoretical aspects, presented to students through a series of lessons, with the help of audiovisual material. This will allow the student to acquire basic knowledge about biodiversity, how to measure it, how it can vary and what are the main factors that threaten it.
The second part (3 credits) will cover practical experiences, which will include the application of quality analysis methods for terrestrial and aquatic environments through the use of bioindicator arthropods, and laboratory exercises based on the recognition of the main families.
