Prerequisites: 

The student who attends the course has acquired knowledge and basic skills in previous teaching activities of the degree course in Veterinary Medicine. The main prerequisites are related to public health, animal production, economics and business organization. The present course allows the student to acquire basic elements on the acts and principles of food law that support the Food Hygiene and Food Safety, that are well related and based to different subjects of the Veterinary Medicine context (e.g. animal welfare, the animal production chain, ethics of the animal production, management of veterinary medicine, etc.).
