Analyze and understand well all connectives and discourse markers at this B1 level; work on comprehension of academic/scientific texts without referring to a dictionary and fast reading to understand the general sense; the passive in all its particulars, especially the infinitive, modal, and continuous; understand well prefixes and suffixes of Anglo-Saxon origin and their base words in order to guess future words; analyze referents and how they are different from their Italian counterparts; study the lexicon of the Agriculture sector using typical English exercises- gap-fill (cloze test), matching, multiple choice, and sentence transformation.
