Final oral exam.
Principal aim of the course is to offer the basic knowledge of the main methods for planning and carrying out an archaeological research on the territory. It is directed to the reconstruction of the population in the long term excursus. At the end of this way the student will acquire: knowledge and comprehension of the different sources (archaeological and non archaeological) useful to study the territory; and the methodological aspects of the archaeological survey (by the field practice too); ability to apply these instruments in order to organize and carry out a survey project and to identify the useful material markers to study a territory.
The course will concern essentially the exam of the different sources (archaeological and not) related to the study of th territory, the methodological aspects connected to the archaeological research in the field (strategies, procedures, techniques and documentation of the archaeological survey) and the classification and quantification of the materials.
